A Frerard Story Prt. 22

"Mr. Iero! So nice of you to stop by." I ignored the reacher and walked to my seat. I greeted Mikey with a grin.
"Hello my best friend in the whole world. How are you today?"
"Um... Good... Why are you so happy?"
"Because, I had a great morning."
"Oh yeah. What was so great about it?"
"First, I went for coffee."
"You went for coffee without me?"
"It was a date Mikey. I couldn't take you."
"You went on a date? With who?"
"Michael! Be quiet! You can talk about your love life with Mr. Iero after class." The rest of the class started laughing. Mikey blushed and buried his face into the notebook.
"I'll tell you later Mikey."
"Mr. Iero! What did I just day?"
"I know, I know. Talk about your love life after class." She gave me a glare and went back to the lesson.

When class was finally over we headed to our lockers.
"Who did you go out with?"
"You wanna know?"
"Yeah."
"Do you really want to know?"
"Yes, tell me who it is."
"Well. If you really want to know, I'll tell you."
"Finally."
"I went out with..."
"Hey ladies!" Gerard came towards us. He put his arm around my shoulder and the other one around Mikey.
"Hey Gerard."
"Hey Gee." I gave him a small smile. He grinned. I could feel my face starting to blush.
"So. What are we talking about?"
"Frank had a date today."
"Oh did he."
"Yeah. And he won't tell me with who."
"I know who he went out with."
"You do?"
"Yeah."
"How can you tell Gerard and not me?"
"Ah, don't get mad at Frank Mikey. I'm sure he'll tell you. Eventually."
"Yeah Mikey. I'll tell you."
"Can you at least tell me if I know her?"
"Him."
"Him?" I nodded.
"Now I want to know more than before. Who is it?"
"I'll tell you later Mikey. And for the record, you do know him."
"So you're not going to tell me?"
"Nope. It's a secret."
"But Gerard knows."
"It's mine and Frank's secret."
"Fine. Don't tell me. I better go to class." He slammed the locker and walked away from us.
"He got mad."
"Should we tell him?"
"Nah. Let him figure it out." I nodded and smiled. "So. Can I stop by your place tonight?"
"Yeah. Of course."
"Awesome. See you then."
"Okay." He kissed my cheek and walked away.

School was finally over. I waited for Mikey outside his class. When he finally came out, he walked passed me ignoring me completely.
"Hey Mikey." No answered. "Mikey. Don't tell me you're still mad at me." No answered. "Mikey. Anthrax sucks."
"No they don't!"
"Ah! I made you talk to me." He game me a glare. "I had to say something that would make you talk to me."
"Fine."
"So you're not mad anymore?"
"I guess not."
"That's my Mikey." I put my arm around him and gave him a quick kiss on the forehead. "Let's go home."

We walked home. The whole way Mikey acted a little strange. He would space out between conversations.
"Mikey. Mikey!"
"Huh?"
"We're at your house already."
"Oh." He looked around. "I guess we are."
"What is going on with you?"
"Huh?"
"You've been acting strange the whole way here."
"Uh... Nothing... It's nothing. Trust me."
"Mikey, what's going on?"
"It's just that..." He looked down and bit his lip.
"What?"
"I... Nothing."
"You're not going to tell me?"
"I... I can't."
"Why not?" He shook his head.
"I should go inside." I nodded.
"Okay." He never looked at me. He kept his head down and walked inside. I waited until he closed the door to go home. The whole way home I just kept thinking about Mikey.
Why was he acting so strange? Why didn't he tell me what was happening? We tell each other everything. Or at least he does. What was he going to tell me?
